Hello there, it's been a while!
Well, I'm back with a piece I call "the Modern-day Medusa". It's influenced by the myth of Medusa in which her previously heavenly perplexion was ruined by Athena. Medusa's complexion was ruined so much that whoever looked at her, they would be immediately turned into stone.
Before her unfortunate change, Medusa had various suitors, including Poseidon.
The Modern-Day Medusa is someone who was once desirable, but for whatever reason, he/she decided to change for the worse, and become someone utterly despicable and ultimately undesirable; almost unrecognizable in character and in look.
This piece is for anyone who thought they knew someone, only to be betrayed or stabbed in the back as that person turned out to be someone rather horrid, so to speak.
Any comments and crit would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for looking!
